John Hawbaker

John Hawbaker served a 20 year career as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army, during which he managed operations at all risk levels in diverse environments around the world. Many of those operations included hundreds of millions of dollars and several thousand personnel with national-level effects. After military service, he transitioned to veteran services roles in Idaho. He has served as the Veteran Services Center director at Boise State University, and currently is the executive director of Idaho Veterans Network working with Idaho’s veterans. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Point, an M.S. in Military Science from the Army’s Command and General Staff College, an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville, and he is a current participant in Boise State University's Executive MBA program.
