HAZWOPER Training
At Fortify Risk Management, we provide private group classes for comprehensive HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training designed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills to safely manage hazardous materials and respond effectively to emergency situations. Our programs meet and exceed OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.120 requirements, ensuring full compliance while building a strong culture of safety within your organization.
Whether your team works at hazardous waste sites, engages in cleanup operations, or may be called upon to respond to chemical spills and other emergencies, our HAZWOPER courses deliver practical instruction grounded in real-world scenarios. We can customize the training scenarios to the industries of you or your clients to fit your needs. We offer the full range of training options including: 16 hour, 24 hour, and 40 hour HAZWOPER certifications, as well as the 8 hour annual refresher courses, to meet the specific needs of your workforce.
Our training emphasizes more than regulatory compliance; it focuses on operational readiness. Participants learn to recognize hazards, properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), implement decontamination procedures, and follow established response protocols. By providing hands-on, scenario-based learning, we prepare employees not just to comply with regulations, but to respond with confidence and precision when it matters most.
At Fortify Risk Management, we recognize that every organization has unique risk exposures. That is why our HAZWOPER training is tailored to your industry, worksites, and operational challenges. The result is a workforce that is safer, more capable, and better prepared to mitigate risk, protecting both people and the business.
